Our church family is made up of people from all ages and walks of life. There are lots of young families, couples and single people. We also have a growing number of older people in our congregation, many of whom go along to ‘Cornerstone’, which is our midweek luncheon club held for them on Wednesdays.
Our Sunday services incorporate different ‘styles’ of worship. In other words we try to use the best of the old and the best of the new – traditional hymns mixed in with lots of contemporary songs, all led by a modern worship band.
Central to our services is Scripture. We want the bible to be preached clearly and relevantly so it engages with modern life. Each term we develop a block of teaching either from a book of the bible or we explore a specific theme. You can get an idea of what we do by listening to some of the sermons from the Sermons section.
We also provide age specific activities for children and young people on a Sunday. Spread over the two services there are a number of children and young people who join us for the first part of the service before going off into their own groups.
