Drop off donations every Friday at GBC

RSS

Do you have a laptop/tablet that you no longer use?

Along with our usual Foodbank drop off you can now donate unwanted digital devices (laptops, tablets, PCs & mobiles, ideally under 5yrs old & working), to go to those in need nearby.

We are collecting on behalf of the Digital Access West Yorkshire team. Your donated device will be taken to their workshop at Hyde Park Book Club for cleaning, securely wiping of all data and repurposing for those in need across the local area, especially for online schooling, social connections and other online requirements eg medical, shopping etc.
If you could remove any accounts, eg Apple iTunes accounts, and restore factory settings etc, that would be very helpful to the technicians repurposing your donation. Further details about how to wipe your device ID can be found here. If you are unsure how to do this, don't worry - no personal data will remain on any devices that are distributed to recipients.

Every Friday between 10am and 1pm the front door of Guiseley Baptist Church on Oxford Road, Guiseley LS20 9AS, will be open, giving access to the church foyer. As you take your daily exercise you are welcome to drop off your donation, whether it is a digital device or much needed food/other essentials for the Bradford North Foodbank.
